This week’s photos of the week that was are from Philip and my woodland camping experience! We spent 3 nights at the beautiful Fire and Stars Woodland Camping, in the National Forrest in Leicestershire. It was all that we had hoped for and more, with very roomy pitches, each shielded by the others by trees and with their own fire pits:

There is ample good walking (and cycling) from the campsite, and a great traditional pub (The Old Crown: dog, child and walker friendly, delicious food and great ales) 100 yards up the road! What’s not to like?

Demi stayed back to chill with her friends, but we are certain to go back – and there will be no escape for her next time!
