The photo of the week that was…

One of the features I like about my new Suunto Spartan Trainer is the watchface which shows you the sunset and sunrise times. It also represents the daylight and dusk hours as an arch surrounding the face (the yellow, orange and red sections above).

This photo was taken on June 21st, the longest day of the year and it makes my heart fill with joy! Look at all those daylight hours! It’s light from 4am till past 10pm, and the sky remains lit till almost midnight!

And unbelievably, the UK is having great weather this week, so we can actually enjoy the long days! Get out there and fill up on vitamine D people!

(although I think I may be changing to a more traditional watchface come December…)
